Filing a C-corporation extension return?

Extension Due Date for C-Corporations is Nov. 15

If you're filing a corporation income tax return under the 7-month filing extension for C-corporations, your return is due Nov. 15, 2019. The 7-month extension is only for C-corporation calendar year filers, and differs for fiscal year filers and nonprofit corporations. (See Tax Bulletin 17-9 for details).

How to file

• File your return using any approved software products. 
• Certain Virginia corporations, with 100% of their business in Virginia and federal taxable income of $40,000 or less, may qualify to file a short version of the return using eForms. See eForm 500EZ for complete eligibility requirements.
